Terms
Using this site means you agree to what’s on this page. You’re dealing with Amjad Hossain Rishad, trading as Write Shorts. Support and any question about these terms: support@writeshorts.com.
What this is
You answer some questions about what you make and how you sound. You type a topic. You get back a complete short-form script — hook, body, pacing, payoff, close. A whole script, not a hook. That’s the product.
The free script
You get one free script in exchange for an email address. One per person. I check the email and the browser it came from, and neither check is perfect — someone determined can get more than one by using more than one address. I’d rather write that down than pretend to a wall I don’t have.
If a script fails to generate, it doesn’t count.
Paying
$24.99 a month, or $149 a year — which works out at $12.42 a month. Both include unlimited scripts: no credits, no counting, no per-script charge. The annual plan locks your price for as long as you keep it running.
There is one guard, and it is against automated abuse rather than against you: if a single connection generates around 200 scripts in a day, it stops and asks me to look. Nobody writing their own videos comes near that — it exists so a runaway script cannot run up a bill overnight. If you ever meet it, message me and I will open it back up.
There is no per-minute limit, no daily quota and no counter. You will not see a “you have hit your limit” message, because there isn’t one to hit.
Renewals and cancelling
Plans renew automatically at the end of each period. You can cancel any time.Cancelling stops the next payment rather than ending the one you’ve paid for: you keep generating until the period runs out.
Right now that means emailing support@writeshorts.comand I’ll do it the same day. A one-click cancel from your own account is being built and will replace this — it will never be harder to stop paying than it was to start.
Refunds
I don’t offer refunds. When you buy a plan you’re buying that period, and cancelling stops the next payment rather than returning the last one. I’d rather say that here than let you find it out later — it’s the honest position for a product run by one person.
If you’re in the UK or EU you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase, unless you agree at checkout to immediate delivery and give that right up. That right is yours whatever this page says.
The scripts are yours
Everything the tool writes for you belongs to you. Use it, post it, sell it, change it, put your name on it. I don’t take a cut and I don’t claim a licence over your videos.
Two honest caveats about how these models work:
- You are not guaranteed a unique script.Another creator could type a similar topic and get something similar back. I can’t promise otherwise and neither can anyone who says they do.
- I can’t promise a script is free of anyone else’s rights. If it hands you a line that turns out to belong to someone, that’s a risk you carry when you post it.
I keep a copy of every script for the reasons on the privacy page — mostly so the tool doesn’t write you the same shape twice.
What the tool doesn’t promise
No promise about views, followers, or money. Not “it usually works” — no promise at all. A script is a script. What happens after you post it depends on your face, your voice, your editing, your timing, and an algorithm none of us control.
Check what it writes before you post it. It can be wrong about facts, and if it’s writing about health, money or law that matters more. What goes out under your name is your responsibility.
What you can’t do
- Resell or repackage the tool itself as your own product
- Run it with scripts or bots, or share one account with a team
- Feed it other people’s content and ask it to reproduce that
- Try to break it, overload it, or get at other people’s data
- Write anything illegal, or anything designed to deceive people about who’s speaking
If you do any of these I can close your account — and if you’d paid for time you hadn’t used, you get that time refunded.
When things break
I’ll try to keep it running and I’m not promising it always will. It’s one person’s product on rented infrastructure, and the AI company it depends on can have a bad day. If a generation fails, it doesn’t count against you. The service is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law gives you and doesn’t let me exclude.
If something goes badly wrong
If I’m liable to you for something, that liability is capped at what you paid me in the 12 months before it happened. I’m not liable for lost profit, lost followers, or business you say you’d have had. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud or anything else the law doesn’t permit me to limit — and if you’re a consumer, your statutory rights stand whatever this page says.
Changing these terms
I can change this page. If a change is significant and you’re a paying customer, I’ll email you before it takes effect. If you don’t like it, cancel — and if the change lands mid-period, you get the unused part back.
